Environmental Activities

Major environmental activities we carry out within the framework of Environmental Law No. 2872 and ISO 14001 Environment Management System are:

- Waste classification

- Collection of classified waste according to waste category,

- Storing collected waste according to their characteristics,

- Proper disposal of stored waste by institutions authorized by the Ministry of Environment and Urbanisation,

- Following and updating environmental legislations periodically

- Minimum usage of natural sources

- Performing required environment and emission measurements within periods determined by legal legislations,

- Following the environmental permits and environmental impact assessment reports in accordance with legislations

- Planning and performing internal audits annually,

- Performing risk assessments regarding the environment,

- Educating employees on environmental awareness, ISO 14001 Environmental Management System, waste classification, and do’s and don’ts in case of an environmental accident.

Also:

- We prefer using environmentally less hazardous products over products that are highly hazardous.

- We do not use any chemicals that are banned or limited by European standards.

- We are aware of the environmental impact of chemicals and consumables we use, and we educate our employees on these impacts.
